Governors
The Role of the Governing Body
School Governors are the equivalent of the Board of Directors and make decisions about the strategic direction of The Highway Primary School.
The Governing Body meets twice a term as a whole group. School Governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They can only act collectively, not individually. The Governors are made up of parents, members of staff and co-opted members (people appointed by the governing body and Trust, who, in the opinion of the governing body have the skills required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school).
