About our Preschool

We are thrilled to announce that The Highway Primary School will have a Preschool from September 2026. 

The existing Charterhouse Preschool which runs on our site, one of the oldest and most established Preschools in Orpington, will become part of the Highway family and Lumero Educational Trust and we are really excited for this new journey. 

If your child already attends Charterhouse Preschool, we look forward to meeting you soon! We will be contacting you via email in early June to confirm the sessions you require from September and provide other essential information. We will be sending out the new LA Parent Contract at that time.

Preschool Term and Holiday Dates for 2026/2027 are still being confirmed by Lumero Trust and will be sent out as soon as available. The School's Term Dates can be viewed here - Preschool will follow these dates but have several additional days to comply with funded hours (38 weeks per year). These usually fall on the School's INSET days but please wait to hear further.
