A hot day, with lots of competitive fun. Well done to Blue Mazarines House, overall winners this year!
Year 6 had a wonderful week on School Journey, Their days were packed with activities which included fossil hunting, a visit to Carisbrooke Castle, boat trip around the Needles and glass-blowing at Alum Bay. They also had lots of fun just playing on the beach!
Year 5 went on a 2-day action packed residential to the Kingswood Centre near Ashford from 22th-24th April
Following our success in the Tesco Bags of Help Project 2017 we were able to provide outdoor staging areas for both KS1 and KS2
The children had a great time experimenting with experiments during Science Week!
Our special World Book Day this year is Shakespeare themed. The children and staff came to school in some truly wonderful costumes and enjoyed great day of activities!
In January 2018, to start off our Shakespeare Literacy Project, the children in Years 2 to 6 visited The Globe Theatre to discover what it would have been like to watch one of his plays in the original theatre over 400 years ago. They had a tour then took part in fun and structured workshops.
